My daughter is left handed and wants to learn guitar. Is it true that electric is easier to learn in due to lighter strings? She is still pretty young and has tiny hands.

The strings are a good bit thinner on an electric generally, so it would help. You could also say that starting with an acoustic could be like swinging a bat with a weight on it when you’re on deck. Best option would be to find a short scale youth guitar to start on. The shorter neck will really help with small hands.
I’d see if she takes to playing right handed first, though. It’s so much easier and cheaper to find righty guitars.

I guess I don’t have good pictures of my guitars on my phone like I thought I did.... Here’s my current inventory:
Epiphone 310LH (Thinking of upgrading the electronics in this one soon.)
Ibanez AE-10LHE (should sell, but haven’t gotten around to it yet)
Epiphone EJ-200 (my favorite guitar and most played)
And a tele partscaster that I built over the past year. Color scheme is similar to this one, but is traditional tele style with Texas Special pickups.
